 s "Currents" film series\, where we will show John Richie's "Iron Sharpens
  Iron".</p>\n<p>"Iron Sharpens Iron" is the story of the historically Blac
 k community of Ironton in Plaquemines Parish\, which has found itself at t
 he forefront of both coastal change and recent efforts to address it. This
  film captures this community&rsquo\;s fight against the development of th
 e Plaquemines Liquids Terminal (PLT) atop land that includes their ancestr
 al cemetery.</p>\n<p>The two consulting producers on this film are&nbsp\;A
 ngela A. Allen-Bell\, a B. K. Agnihotri Endowed Professor at&nbsp\;Souther
 n University Law Center\, and coastal scientist Dr. Alex Kolker. They will
  lead a discussion on the impacts that coastal and minority communities ex
 perience at the hands of fossil fuel corporations in southern Louisiana.</
 p>\n<p>This is a hybrid event with both virtual and in-person access. Atte
