Hear Fischoff alumni\, Kenari Quartet\, perform their exciting musical retelling of My Very Favorite Book in the Whole Wide World\, by author and 2017 Superbowl champion\, Malcolm Mitchell.
\nFischoff&rsquo\;s S.A.M. I Am program is free and open to the public. A limited number of books\, including cop ies of My Very Favorite Book in the Whole Wide World in both English and S panish\, \;will be given away after the performance. \;This Fischo ff Arts-in-Education Residency performance is generously made possible by the Shein Charitable Trust\, Anonymous and the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County.

Kenari Quartet\, is appl
auded for their &ldquo\;flat-out amazing&rdquo\; performances and delivers
inspiring performances that &ldquo\;demolishes all preconceived notions a
bout the saxophone.&rdquo\; Fischoff is delighted to bring back the Kenari
Quartet\, winner of Fischoff&rsquo\;s 2023 Ann Divine Educator Award. Thi
s national award recognizes the educational outreach work of Fischoff Comp
etition alumni who have demonstrated outstanding and imaginative programmi
ng for children and youth in the United States. It honors musicians who ha
ve established professional careers in chamber music\, and have proven the
ir ability to successfully build a career in both chamber music performanc
e and educational outreach. Formed in 2012 at Indiana University\, Kenari
Quartet has found a home performing on many of the premiere chamber music
series in the United States. Recent engagements include appearances at Cha
mber Music Northwest\, the Grand Teton Music Festival\, and Chamber Music
Tulsa.

973\, the Fischoff National Chamber Music Association hosts the Fischoff C
ompetition\, the largest and longest-running chamber music competition in
the nation. More than 8\,000 musicians have participated\, many of whom ha
ve gone on to distinguished careers in music performance and education. Th
is unique arts organization has secured its place as the nation&rsquo\;s p
remier educational chamber music competition because of the caliber of its
jurors\, performance venues\, and well-known alumni. It is also known for
extensive outreach programming during the competition and throughout the
year. The Fischoff uniquely partners with competition alumni to bring free
\, innovative music programs directly to children in their own schools and
community centers. Since 1995\, these programs have served more than 100\
,000 community children\, reaching more than 4\,000 underserved youth annu
