 ated from the University of Michigan Medical School with honors in 1979. H
 e maintains a clinical&nbsp\;practice in geriatric medicine. He held a fac
 ulty position at the University of Connecticut Medical School and has coor
 dinated the geriatrics curriculum for the Middlesex Hospital Family Medici
 ne Residency Program for over 30 years. He is currently medical director o
 f four Connecticut health care facilities. As a physician and long-time me
 ditator\, Dr.&nbsp\;Raider&nbsp\;has a strong interest in meditation and i
 ts relationship&nbsp\;to health and disease prevention/treatment. He has l
 ectured extensively on the subject in hospitals and other venues in the Un
 ited States and Canada and most recently spoke at the United Nations.</p>\
