 ale with the opening of &ldquo\;Women and War: A Contemporary Art Perspect
 ive&rdquo\; at ReflectSpace Gallery at Glendale Central Library. Reflectin
 g on a decade of activism\, this exhibition brings together the work of th
 ree Korean artists - Kim Chang Kyum\, Choi Chongwoon\, and Zu Do Yang - wh
 o address the past\, present and future of the &lsquo\;comfort woman&rsquo
 \; issue.</p>\n<p>Dutch photographer and artist Jan Banning&rsquo\;s portr
 aits of Indonesian &lsquo\;Comfort Women&rsquo\; are display in the Passag
 eWay Gallery along with work by several Korean-American student artists. O
 rganized by Phyllis Kim of C.A.R.E. (Comfort Women Action for Redress &amp
 \; Education) these works by artists Seung Chan Kim\, Won Hwang\, Ian B. K
 im\, Yoomin Lee\, Woohyung Jung and Audrey Kim\, expand on the various the
 mes of &lsquo\;comfort women&rsquo\; and their histories.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>T
 he exhibition runs through September 24\, 2023. It is curated by Monica Hy
 e Yeon Jun\, who has been collaborating with Library\, Arts &amp\; Culture
  staff for a decade. ReflectSpace Gallery is co-curated by Ara and Anahid 
 Oshagan.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>A free dual language exhibition catalog will be av

  of the Adult Recreation Center in Glendale\, was challenged by the Japane
