DESCRIPTION:Pick up your solar eclipse glasses and watch the eclipse with
 us!.\nhttps://broward.libnet.info/event/8953291
X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>An eclipse of the Sun occurs when the Moon
&nbsp\;moves between the Sun and Earth\, blocking&nbsp\;some or all of the
Sun. While the Sun is much&nbsp\;bigger than the Moon\, it is also much f
arther&nbsp\;away. It just happens that these two things&nbsp\;combine to
make the Sun and Moon appear&nbsp\;roughly the same size in the sky when s
een&nbsp\;from Earth. When the two are exactly lined up\,&nbsp\;the Moon c
an hide the Sun from our sight &ndash\;&nbsp\;hence a &ldquo\;total&rdquo\
 ; eclipse. If the line-up is not&nbsp\;exact you experience a &ldquo\;part
ial&rdquo\; eclipse.</p>\n<p>Come join us to view this spectacular event!<
/p>\n<p>Pick up special glasses in which to watch the moon block the sun's
rays! This is sure to be an amazingly fun event for both youth and adults
! Must have a library card or sign up for a new card at the library.</p>\n
