 ber&nbsp\;ensemble Unheard-of will be talking about the history of the wor
 k and performing it at BPL.</p>\n<p>Unheard-of Ensemble is a Brooklyn-base
 d clarinet\, violin\, cello\, and piano quartet performing dedicated to co
 nnecting new music to communities in New York and across the United States
  through the development and performance of adventurous programs using tec
 hnology and interactive multimedia. Unheard-of is committed to the idea th
 at new music belongs in every community\, and implements this mission thro
 ugh concerts and educational workshops throughout New York as well as on t
 our. Unheard-of has grown since forming in 2014 into a nation-wide communi
 ty across multiple artistic genres. With an approach that is open and welc
 oming of all voices\, Unheard-of strives to be a vehicle for development a
 nd growth for voices novel and experienced\, experimental and traditional\
 , uncomfortable and accessible. Unheard-of Ensemble tours regularly\, comm
 issions large-scale multimedia projects\, and runs its own summer workshop
  for emerging composers\, the Collaborative Composition Initiative (CCI). 
 The 2023-24 season focuses on our newest performance series in collaborati
 on with the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club\, the Cultural Ecologies Series\, 
 an immersive set of multimedia concerts utilizing Brooklyn&rsquo\;s own Go
 wanus Canal as our stage. On tour\, Unheard-of visits Georgia State Univer
 sity\, Columbus State University\, and University of Florida\, Johnstone S
 eries at Short North Stage\, Ohio University\, Cal State Northridge and Un
 iversity of Pittsburgh. In past seasons\, the ensemble has had residencies
  and performances at Oberlin\, Northwestern\, CCM\, Manhattan School of Mu
 sic\, as well as New York venues National Sawdust\, Roulette\, Symphony Sp
