 sica Vitalis and answering audience questions.</p>\n<p><strong>Erin Bow</s
 trong> was born and raised in Iowa\, and trained as a physicist so natural
 ly she now spends her days writing children&rsquo\;s fiction in her tiny (
 heated) garden shed in Ontario. Her books - which include the Governor Gen
 eral&rsquo\;s Award - winning <em>Stand on the Sky</em>\, <em>Plain Kate</
 em>\, <em>Sorrow&rsquo\;s Know</em>\, and the science fiction duology <em>
 The Scorpion Rules</em> and <em>The Swan Riders</em> &ndash\; have won a f
 istful of awards. Erin lives with her husband (who&rsquo\;s also a novelis
 t)\, two teenage kids\, a tabby named after a rock\, a black cat named aft
 er a black hole\, and an empty-headed\, big hearted dog named after the mo
 on.</p>\n<p><strong>Jessica Vitalis</strong>\, a Columbia MBA-wielding wri
 ter\, authored <em>The Wolf&rsquo\;s Curse</em> and a standalone companion
  novel\, <em>The Rabbit&rsquo\;s Gift</em> (which received starred reviews
  from the School Library Journal and CCBC and was named a Canadian Childre
 n&rsquo\;s Book Center Best Books for Kids and Teens 2023). Her next book\
 , <em>Coyote Queen</em>\, arrives on 10/10/23 and an unnamed novel in vers
 e comes out in 2024. Her work has been translated into three languages\, a
 nd she was named a 2021 Canada Council of the Arts Grant Recipient and fea
 tured on CBCs Here and Now and CTVs Your Morning. Jessica now lives in Ont
 ario with her husband and two daughters but speaks at conferences\, festiv
 als\, and schools all over North America.</p>\n<p><strong>Presented in par
