\nJen Cheng is a poe t\, writer\, and multidisciplinary artist with a commitment to amplify und errepresented voices. In mid-October 2023\, Jen starts her term as the fif th Poet Laureate of the City of West Hollywood and releases her new poetry collection\, Braided Spaces. She is the founder of Palabras< /em> Literary Salon\, celebrating BIPOC poets and writers\, a founding mem ber and Associate Producer of Pride Poets serving LGBTQ events\, and the c reator of the playtiles mural in Santa Monica&rsquo\;s Artist All ey. Jen blends East-West influences in a new form\, Feng Shui Poetry. She is also a filmmaker with a documentary project celebrating LGBTQ Elders wi th poetry. With stories for tween audiences\, mystery detective fans\, and queer love\, Jen is a cross-pollinator.
