Each session we will focus on a different illustrator by reading a book (or two) that they illustrated and then we'l l dive into an art project in their style.

Many people are familia r with The Great Wave off Kanagawa\, a profoundly significant piece of art created during the 19th century by Japanese artist Katsushika Kanagawa. P ossibly the most famous artwork in Japanese history\, The Great Wave off K anagawa continues to make waves today. This session of Art Like an Illustr ator will feature Hokusai inspired wave paintings of our very own!

For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each chi ld separately that will be attending the program using the child's first a nd last name. We will meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
