Grant Budgeting will cover the process of creating a grant proposal budget from start to finish &ndash\; from an ini tial project idea to the final line-item proposal budget. It will go over key grant budget terms and common budgeting rules and regulations. Attende es will learn how to review the funder&rsquo\;s budget requirements\, iden tify project expenses\, and draft budget-related documents.
\nMolly has over seven years of grants experience. She first got started in the gr ants world as a Development Coordinator at Walton Arts Center\, then moved into Research Administration and later Research Development at the Univer sity of Arkansas. In 2021\, she became a Certified Research Administrator\ , and then was promoted to her current role of Associate Director of Resea rch Development in 2022. In this role\, she supports the University&rsquo\ ;s research priorities\, brings together strong research teams\, and impro ves the overall competitiveness of submitted research proposals. To date\, her role in research development has helped investigators receive $39M in grant funding.
