  discussion at Shadle Park Library\, in partnership with the League of Wom
 en Voters. As part of a series of forums across the city\, this event is d
 edicated to introducing the candidates running for the City Council seat i
 n District 3 for the 2023 general election.</p>\n<p>Candidates will have t
 he opportunity to present their visions for Spokane followed by a moderate
 d discussion and an audience Q&amp\;A.</p>\n<p>Our moderator will be Spoka
 ne Public Library's own Leonard Kransdorf. Leonard currently serves as a l
 ibrary clerical assistant\, but his former career was as a journalist\, wo
 rking and writing at newspapers from Florida to North Dakota. He has exper
 ience both interviewing candidates as well as moderating similar candidate
  forums.</p>\n<p>Being informed is key to making confident decisions at th
 e ballot box. This forum provides a platform for candidates to share their
  perspectives and plans\, while also allowing the community to gain a deep
 er understanding of their potential representatives.</p>\n<p>While this is
  one of several forums taking place in various districts\, each event is t
 ailored to the unique concerns and interests of its respective district. W
 e encourage residents District 3 to attend\, engage\, and make their voice
 s heard.</p>\n<p>Come be a part of this vital civic engagement process and
  connect with the individuals aiming to shape the future of our city.</p>\
