  discussion at Liberty Park Library\, in partnership with the League of Wo
 men Voters. As part of a series of forums across the city\, this event is 
 dedicated to introducing the candidates running for the City Council seat 
 in District 2 for the 2023 general election.</p>\n<p>Candidates will have 
 the opportunity to present their visions for Spokane followed by a moderat
 ed discussion and an audience Q&amp\;A.</p>\n<p>Our moderator will be Spok
 ane Public Library's own Leonard Kransdorf. Leonard currently serves as a 
 library clerical assistant\, but his former career was as a journalist\, w
 orking and writing at newspapers from Florida to North Dakota. He has expe
 rience both interviewing candidates as well as moderating similar candidat
 e forums.</p>\n<p>Being informed is key to making confident decisions at t
 he ballot box. This forum provides a platform for candidates to share thei
 r perspectives and plans\, while also allowing the community to gain a dee
 per understanding of their potential representatives.</p>\n<p>While this i
 s one of several forums taking place in various districts\, each event is 
 tailored to the unique concerns and interests of its respective district. 
 We encourage residents District 2 to attend\, engage\, and make their voic
