A little history: Dí\;a de los Muert os is celebrated from October 31 to November 2 every year. The holiday mar ks a period of celebration and remembrance. During those three days\, one symbol is present nearly everywhere you look: a sugar skull! \;
\n< p>Sugar skulls (calaveras de azú\;car) are made from a white sugar m ixture that&rsquo\;s shaped with a skull mold. The skulls are intricately decorated with colorful designs and adornments\, and the name of a loved o ne recently departed is often written on the forehead. They&rsquo\;re left on altars to ancestors as a reminder that someone is thinking of them. Fr iends and family also gift sugar skulls to their loved ones during the Day of the Dead as a way to show they care.\nWhat will your skull plan ter creation look like?
