 to Excel</p>\n<p>Learn the basics of this popular software program designe
 d for storing\, organizing and manipulating data. This class will discuss 
 the parts of a spreadsheet\, including columns\, rows and cells. Participa
 nts will create a basic spreadsheet during class. You must be able to use 
 a mouse and be familiar with basic computer concepts such as opening\, clo
 sing\, and&nbsp\;re-sizing&nbsp\;windows before taking this&nbsp\;class</p
 >\n<p></p>\n<p>October 9: Part Two &ndash\; Introduction to Formulas &amp\
 ; Functions</p>\n<p>Learn what formulas do and how you can make your own.&
 nbsp\; This class will also discuss the various functions within Microsoft
  Excel and how they can be used to your benefit.&nbsp\; Participants shoul
 d have a basic understanding of Excel prior to taking this class.</p>\n<p>
 </p>\n<p>October 16: Part Three &ndash\; Manipulation of Worksheets\, Grap
 hs &amp\; Charts</p>\n<p>Using what has been learned in the previous Intro
 ductions classes\, participants will learn how to get all of their data in
 to Excel so it is organized and then make graphs or charts from that data.
 &nbsp\; This is an advanced level class so participants should an understa
 nding of the fundamentals of Excel prior to attending.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>
 \n<p>October 23: Part Four &ndash\; Security &amp\; Sharing of Workbooks\,
  Analyzing Data &amp\; Pivot Charts</p>\n<p>Participants in this class wil
 l learn how to keep the data of their Workbooks secure\, especially when s
 haring with other collaborators or viewers.&nbsp\; This class will also go
  over data analyzation building upon the charts and graphs knowledge from 
 previous classes.&nbsp\; Participants will finish this class learning abou
 t Pivot Charts &ndash\; when and how to use them.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>
 Bring your own laptop or device or borrow one of ours.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>No
  registration necessary but limited space is available\; patrons will be a
 dmitted into the program on a first-come-first-serve basis.</p>\n<p>This i
