 cheherazade</em>&nbsp\;tells the age-old tale of&nbsp\;<em>One Thousand an
 d One Nights</em>\,&nbsp\;in which the titular Scheherazade prolongs her l
 ife by spinning intriguing tales for her tyrannical husband each night. Sc
 heherazade is represented by a beautiful lyrical violin solo and the lilti
 ng motion of the sea comes in the form of the undulating cello and violin 
 sections. Violinist Tessa Lark returns to perform alongside the orchestra 
 once again\; the world premiere of Music Director Carlos Izcaray&rsquo\;s 
 <em>Violin Concerto\, </em>a work composed specifically for her\,&nbsp\;sh
