The library is hosting a Spooky Stories Pu mpkin Painting Contest! Instead of carving\, participants can paint a pump kin based on their favorite spooky or Halloween-themed story and showcase it at the library in October. Drop off your painted pumpkin between Octobe r 15th and 29th. Pumpkins will be posted on social media for voting on Nov ember 1\, and the winners will be determined by the number of likes they r eceive\, with the top three placements being awarded gift cards to local b usinesses on November 2. Due to being a food product\, all pumpkins will b e thrown away after the contest has concluded.
