  author Lana Button in this fun and interactive writing workshop for kids.
 </p>\n<p>We'll snap\, clap\, and create lots of rocking rhythm to get our 
 brains ready for rhyming. And then we explore Button's rhyming picture boo
 k\, <em>Raj&rsquo\;s Rule (for the Bathroom at School)</em> and get inspir
 ed to create our own verses.</p>\n<p>Bring your favourite writing tools an
 d paper\, and have fun exploring writing in rhyme!</p>\n<p>Funding has bee
 n provided in part by the Burlington Arts and Culture Fund.</p>\n<h5>About
  the Presenter</h5>\n<p>Lana Button has eleven published picture books\, i
 ncluding her latest rhyming books\, <em>The Cow Said\, BOO!</em> (Pajama P
 ress) and <em>Stay my Baby</em> (Orca) Her books have been shortlisted for
 &nbsp\;<em>The Blue Spruce</em>\,&nbsp\;<em>The Shining Willow</em>\, the&
 nbsp\;<em>Jean Throop IODE Award</em>&nbsp\;and the&nbsp\;<em>Rainforest o
 f Reading</em>\, and have been recognized as <em>Canadian Children&rsquo\;
 s Book Centre&rsquo\;s&nbsp\;Best Bets</em>\, the IBBY&nbsp\;<em>Outstandi
 ng Book for Young Children</em> and the winner of the <em>SCBWI&rsquo\;s C
