\nMichael Rotondi has practiced and taught a rchitecture locally and internationally for over forty years\, always oper ating from his base in Los Angeles. He was a founding Partner of Morphosis (1975-1991)\, founding Principal of RoTo Architects (1991-present)\, and a co-founder of SCI-Arc\, where he co-created and directed the Graduate Pr ogram (1978-1987)\, was the second Institute Director from 1987-1997\, and currently teaches as Distinguished Faculty. Throughout four decades\, pra ctice and teaching have become complimentary halves of one activity: growi ng and deploying an Architectural Mind that is curious\, cross-disciplinar y\, and quintessentially problem-solving.
