The M.E.I.T. (Mobile Exemption &\; Info rmation Team) from the Office of Marty Kiar\, our Broward County Property Appraiser\, has launched a county-wide effort to educate Broward residents about the many tax-saving exemptions our office provides to homeowners an d to help them save money.

This effort includes members of BCPA's outreach team attending community events\, festivals\, speaking at homeown ers associations\, homebuyer&rsquo\;s workshops\, churches\, professional organizations\, and more. At many of these events\, BCPA provides direct s upport to residents by completing exemption applications on the spot\, inc luding Senior/Low-income Exemptions and Veterans Disability Exemptions.
