TEDxOhioStateUniversity is an independentl y affiliated TEDx organization focused on ideas worth spreading. Every yea r TEDxOhioStateUniversity puts on a main event that consists of 12 amazing speakers\, who give real-life TED talks. However\, this year TEDxOhioStat eUniversity wants to bring the power of TED and TEDx talks to the Columbus Metropolitan Libraries. This event will include the watching and discussi on of a TED talk as well as interactive and collaborative activities with audience members that help put the idea worth spreading in the talk in act ion. TED talk topics can be chosen from a variety of options such as the i mportance of storytelling\, libraries as community builders\, the pursuit of joy\; and finally\, &ldquo\;Don&rsquo\;t have time to read a book\, lis ten to a TED story instead!&rdquo\; Audience members will have the opportu nity to critique or expand upon the talk by applying it to their own lives or lived experiences. This program will be led by student members of the TEDxOhioStateUniversity organization.
