Jamie Blake\, Ph.D. teaches musi c history\, culture\, and theory at Capital University. \;Her research focuses on the ways in which performers from the late Russian empire inde libly shaped ideas about Russian culture for US audiences in the decades p receding the cold war. Dr. Blake views her work as part of a larger transn ational and international \;story about \;human \;migration\, community\, and cultural \;identity in the twentieth century.

Dr. Blake lives in Bexley with her husband and their two daughters.
