Aruna& nbsp\;Papp \;is a nationally and internationally recognized educator a nd advocate of human rights. Her focus is on women&rsquo\;s rights in cros s-cultural perspectives. She has written extensively on the issues facing immigrant women in Canada\, and culturally rooted gender-based violence.&n bsp\;For the past four decades\, \;Aruna \;has also worked as a Po licy Analyst for the government. Her book &ldquo\;Unworthy Creature: A Pun jabi Daughter&rsquo\;s Memoir of Honour\, Shame and Love&rdquo\; is on rec ommended reading lists in several universities.
