Frank San to's first novel\, The Birthparents (Tortoise Books)\, is the story of a s ocial worker with questionable ethics and the whiff of white savior comple x who takes it upon himself to 'make a difference' with a struggling young family in the Bronx. Chaos ensues. \;

In addition to Th e Birthparents\, Frank has published several short stories\, including "Op ening my Heart to Genghis Khan" and "100 People in a Hot Tub\," in the Jul y 2023 issue of Stanchion Zine and the April 2023 online issue of Malarkey Books. While working as a caseworker in the Bronx\, Frank also wrote a re gular feature in the New York Daily News in which he documented things lik e his unsuccessful attempt to infiltrate an anarchist book club\, which wa s apparently against the rules.
