\ nDr. Gail Christopher is an award-winning social change agent with expertise in the social dete rminants of health and well-being and in related public policies. She is k nown for her pioneering work to infuse holistic health and diversity conce pts into public sector programs and policy discourse. Dr. Christopher reti red from her role as senior advisor and vice president at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation\, where she was the driving force behind the America Healing i nitiative and the Truth\, Racial Healing and Transformation effort. She be came the executive director of the National Collaborative for Health Equit y in 2019. Her 2022 book\, "Rx Racial Healing: A Guide to Embracing Our Hu manity\," is framed by a personal narrative detailing her own understandin g of the power of racism and the need for healing. It provides information and resources for facilitators to teach Rx Racial Healing in colleges\, i nstitutions\, and communities.
\nThe Prince George&rsquo\;s Communit y College (PGCC) Truth\, Racial Healing\, &\; Transformation Campus Cen ter (TRHT) is on e of 150 TRHT centers across the nation. It works with the PGCC campus com munity and county organizations to promote racial healing\, create program s that transform narratives\, provide a space for shared experiences\, and catalyze efforts to identify and dismantle structural barriers with respe ct to equity.
