 ding Challenge book club! Each month we'll get together to talk about that
  month's featured categories as well as books that you have read or will r
 ead for any of the categories in the challenge. No reading is required to 
 attend this book club\, just an interest in our reading challenge and the 
 ability to talk about great books!</p>\n<p>Featured categories:</p>\n<p><s
 trong>January 2:</strong> A book by a 2024 Lit Chat author AND A book with
  an eye-catching cover</p>\n<p><strong>February 6:</strong> A book publish
 ed in the year you were born</p>\n<p><strong>March 5:</strong> A book you 
 read as a child</p>\n<p><strong>April 2:</strong> A book of poetry\, essay
 s or short stories AND A book read by a library book club in 2024 &nbsp\;<
 /p>\n<p><strong>May 7:</strong> A sci-fi or alternate history book set in 
 Asia &nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>June 4:</strong> A book with an LGBTQIA+ prot
 agonist</p>\n<p><strong>July 2:</strong> A non-fiction graphic novel or co
 mic AND A Pulitzer Prize winning book</p>\n<p><strong>August 6:</strong> A
  book by a Jacksonville author</p>\n<p><strong>September 3:</strong> A boo
 k in translation written in the 21st century</p>\n<p><strong>October 1:</s
 trong> A horror or dystopian novel AND A cookbook</p>\n<p><strong>November
  12:</strong> A book by a debut author over 50</p>\n<p><strong>December 3:
 </strong> A book based on mythology</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Registration is requi
 red for this event\, and must be completed two hours prior to the start ti
 me. A library card and PIN is required for registration. If you do not hav
