 , author and active blogger Andy Adkins will give a talk at the Millhopper
  Branch entitled &ldquo\;Blogging 101.&rdquo\;</p>\n<p>A glance at his blo
 g\,&nbsp\;<em>A Veteran&rsquo\;s Journey</em>\,&nbsp\;reveals that he has 
 been an active blogger since 2019. He writes personal stories about his ti
 me in the Navy\, both in Guam and aboard&nbsp\;<em>USS Kitty Hawk</em>\;&n
 bsp\;his father&rsquo\;s and his father-in-law&rsquo\;s experiences in WWI
 I&rsquo\;s European Theater of Operations\; his experiences as a Gainesvil
 le firefighter\, and his time as an engineer.</p>\n<p>&ldquo\;Every now an
 d then\,&rdquo\; Adkins says\, &ldquo\;I sprinkle in some life-changing ti
 dbit.&rdquo\; He has certainly had quite a life&ndash\;now in his fifth or
  sixth career and not slowing down.</p>\n<p>Besides being a U.S\, Navy vet
 eran\, he is a former City of Gainesville firefighter\, an electronics eng
 ineer\, a retired legal technologist\, and an author. He&rsquo\;s written 
 and published several books about the military. His first novel\,&nbsp\;<a
  href="https://catalog.aclib.us/view.aspx?keyword=andy+adkins+veteran"><em
 >Never Forget: A Veteran&rsquo\;s Journey for Redemption &amp\; Forgivenes
 s</em></a>\,&nbsp\;debuted in 2021. He is currently in the process of comp
 leting a high-tech thriller\,&nbsp\;<em>Until We Meet Again</em>.</p>\n<p>
