The Cleveland Park Branch of the DC Librar y is pleased to continue our partnership with the U.S. Chess Center. Open to all students in grades 2 to 6 of all abilities\, including beginners. P layers are grouped by ability\, not age. \; Beginners will learn the r ules and experienced players will learn strategy. Classes are led by an ex perienced chess instructor.

Parents or guardians are asked to stay in the building but not in the meeting room during instruction. Class wil l meet on all Wednesdays the library is open except during DCPS winter and spring breaks.
