 )</li>\n<li>Park amenities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br />The facility will be loca
 ted on city-owned lands\, adjacent to a new public/catholic elementary sch
 ool with a childcare facility. A neighbouring residential development call
 ed South Point is also underway.</p>\n<p>The City\, the Waterloo Region Di
 strict School Board\, Waterloo Catholic District School Board and the Idea
  Exchange recently undertook a Joint Use Campus Feasibility Study to explo
 re and identify synergies between all partners\, and evaluate various camp
 us and facility space programs.</p>\n<p>Council agreed with the recommende
 d approach to locate two separate buildings on the joint site with shared 
 amenities. The two school boards will share one facility\, and the Recreat
 ion Complex and Idea Exchange will share the second facility.&nbsp\;Both f
 acilities will have access to community park amenity spaces.&nbsp\;</p>\n<
 p>The future joint-use campus will offer educational\, recreational and cu
 ltural activities for all ages in a rapidly developing community. The 32.5
 -acre campus is located north of the intersection of Dundas Street South a
