 y)</li>\n<li>Park amenities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br />The facility will be loc
 ated on city-owned lands\, adjacent to a new public/catholic elementary sc
 hool with a childcare facility. A neighbouring residential development cal
 led South Point is also underway.</p>\n<p>The City\, the Waterloo Region D
 istrict School Board\, Waterloo Catholic District School Board and the Ide
 a Exchange recently undertook a Joint Use Campus Feasibility Study to expl
 ore and identify synergies between all partners\, and evaluate various cam
 pus and facility space programs.</p>\n<p>Council agreed with the recommend
 ed approach to locate two separate buildings on the joint site with shared
  amenities. The two school boards will share one facility\, and the Recrea
 tion Complex and Idea Exchange will share the second facility.&nbsp\;Both 
 facilities will have access to community park amenity spaces.&nbsp\;</p>\n
 <p>The future joint-use campus will offer educational\, recreational and c
 ultural activities for all ages in a rapidly developing community. The 32.
 5-acre campus is located north of the intersection of Dundas Street South
