 an-read-in/">National African American Read-In (AARI)</a>. Participants ca
 n sign up to read excerpts from children's through middle school books wri
 tten by Black authors or simply drop in anytime to listen. The books can r
 ange from picture books to chapter books. Participants are encouraged to p
 ick a selection that they have a connection with. Selections read aloud sh
 ould be appropriate for all ages. We will have books available for those w
 ho don&rsquo\;t have a prepared piece but wish to participate as well. See
