X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Former Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger
  discusses his bestselling memoir&nbsp\;<em>Renegade: Defending Democracy
 and Liberty In Our Divided Country</em>\,&nbsp\;which captures one of the
 most transformative periods in recent history\, and recounts his time in p
 ublic service. From 2011-2022\, Congressman Kinzinger served six terms in
 the United States House of Representatives\, representing Illinois&rsquo\;
  16th Congressional District.&nbsp\;Following the events of&nbsp\;January
 6\, 2021\, Kinzinger&nbsp\;demonstrated an exceedingly rare loyalty to cou
 ntry over party. As one of only two Republicans on the January 6th Committ
 ee\, Rep. Kinzinger stood against his own party in pursuit of democracy an
 d justice.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>While in Congress\, Kinzinger served as a member
  of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and the House Foreign Affai
 rs Committee\, where he served as Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Eu
 rope\, Eurasia\, Energy and the Environment in the 116th Congress. He also
  served on the non-partisan Select Committee to Investigate the January 6t
 h Attack on the United States Capitol.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Prior to being elect
 ed to Congress\, Kinzinger served in the Air Force in both Operation Iraqi
  Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Join us on Zoom.</
