\nStephen Chbosk y is an American filmmaker and author. He is best-known for writing the be stselling \;coming-of-age novel "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" (199 9)\, as well as for writing and directing the 2012 \;film adaptation&n bsp\;of the book.
