People&rsquo\;s Collection Wales \;(PC W) is a national digital collection that captures\, protects and celebrate s the diverse histories of Wales and its people\, through participation fr om and collaboration with heritage partners and communities. The PCW progr amme provides training and support services as well as a free accessible d igital platform to publish and preserve material. PCW aims to empower the people to collate\, curate and present their own histories which enables d ifferent perspectives to be heard and a variety of stories to be told.
\nBerian Rhys Elias \;works for the People&rsquo\;s Collection Wale s programme\, and is based at the National Library of Wales. His role as a Community Engagement Officer is focused on providing training and support for individuals\, groups and organisations to document\, digitise and sha re materials that reflect Welsh history and heritage.
