 >\n<p><em>Salam!</em> I&rsquo\;m Heifa and I&rsquo\;m so excited you&rsquo
 \;re here!</p>\n<p>I&rsquo\;m a first-generation Palestinian American rais
 ed in NJ but now calls Chicago home. I am the founder\, recipe developer\,
  and food photographer behind Fufu&rsquo\;s Kitchen. And if you are wonder
 ing\, Fufu is my nickname-it just stuck!</p>\n<p>Growing up in a Middle Ea
 stern household\, our day was often centered around food\, specifically tr
 aditional Arab cuisine. I loved watching my mom in the kitchen\, but she n
 ever had proper measurements for her recipes. After moving\, I missed her 
 cooking and took it upon myself to learn\, preserve\, and document the dis
 hes I loved so much. And that is how this blog was born.</p>\n<p>Fast forw
 ard a few years\, and I am also the cookbook author of&nbsp\;<em>Dine in P
 alestine</em>\, a collection of 60 recipes from my family to your table.</
