 -piece band honors the Code Songs used on the clandestine journey along th
 e Underground Railroad by Harriet Tubman and the Freedom Seekers in 1849. 
 They've performed versions of the presentation at venues including the Nat
 ional Museum of African-American History\, Morgan State University\, the m
 id-Atlantic Jazz Festival\, MetroStage\, among many others. Our performanc
 e will be the multipurpose room (#132) on the first floor.&nbsp\; This per
 formance is sponsored by Friends of the Library\, Montgomery County\, MD I
 nc.</p>\n<p>Linda Harris is Director of Events and Programs at the Harriet
  Tubman Museum &amp\; Educational Center in Cambridge\, MD. In 2020\, she 
 walked with seven women in the footsteps of Harriet Tubman\, traveling 158
  miles from the Brodess Plantation in Dorchester County\, Maryland\, to Ph
