\nHeather Pouliot \;Kisilywicz \;is Principal at Ancestor Answers LLC\, a genealogy research firm specializing in forensic investig ative genetic genealogy. Her work includes probate\, parentage\, and inves tigative cases. She earned a master&rsquo\;s in library and information sc ience and a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the University of Rhode Island. Previously\, she was an account executive for a mobile phlebotomy company\, offering a unique perspective to FIGG cases. Her clients benefit from a professional archivist experience in historical societies\, corpor ations\, and private collections to track down primary sources that can bu st &ldquo\;brick walls&rdquo\;.
\nShe is a member of the Society of American Archivists (SAA)\, the Association of Professional Genealogists ( APG)\, the Rhode Island Genealogical Society (RIGS)\, and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Heather is recognized in the state of Rhod e Island in leadership roles: Rhode Island commissioner for the state&rsqu o\;s 250th \;anniversary celebration\, National History Day judge\, an d RIGS 1st \;Vice President.
\nHeather is a frequent Northeast g enealogy and history speaker. She resides in South Kingstown\, Rhode Islan d\, with her three sons and her dog\, Hugo. Lily\, the cat\, chooses to li ve with them.
